Tantra Coaching for Women and Couples

Tantra is an integral part of my style of intimacy, relationship and sex coaching. Although I don’t see Tantra coaching and intimacy coaching as separate, I think it will be beneficial for you to understand how I weave Tantric principles and practices into my work as a sex and intimacy coach.

Tantra has been misused in practice and therefore people’s perceptions of Tantra is often misguided so let’s start with an explanation of what Tantra IS and ISN’T.

What is Tantra?

Tantra is a very old spiritual tradition that came out of India thousands of years ago. At its core, Tantra is about using life itself as the path to awakening not escaping the body, desire, or pleasure, but including them consciously.

A few key ideas:

1

The body is sacred

Unlike traditions that treat the body as something to overcome, tantra says: the body is a doorway. Sensation, breath, movement, and emotion are tools for presence and expansion.

Energy matters more than technique

Tantra works with life-force energy (synonymous with sexual energy, but it’s bigger than sex). It’s about how energy moves through you and affects your nervous system, your emotions and your awareness.

2

3

Presence over performance

In modern Tantra especially around intimacy the focus isn’t on “doing” sex better. It’s about slowing down, feeling more, and being fully present. Eye contact, breath, touch, stillness.

Sexuality as a spiritual force

Sexual energy isn’t seen as something to suppress or discharge quickly, but as creative, healing, and consciousness-expanding when it’s met with awareness.

4

5

Union

The word “Tantra” is often associated with union between body and spirit, masculine and feminine energies, self and other. The experience of union can happen alone or with a partner.

Important myth to clear up

Tantra is not:

  • Just kinky sex
  • About orgies
  • Only for couples or for polyamorous individuals
  • A set of positions

Those are modern distortions. Real tantra is for everyone. It is a path to self-realization. The cultivation and movement of our life-force energy (sexual energy) is at the root of this process.

Modern tantra today

Many people practice tantra now as:

  • Somatic (body-based) healing
  • Conscious sexuality
  • Nervous-system regulation
  • Deepening intimacy and polarity in relationships
  • Learning to cultivate and elevate life-force energy

What is Tantra Coaching?

Tantra can be a beautiful path back to your body, your heart, and your intimate life when it is held in a grounded, respectful way.

I offer Tantra coaching for women and couples who are drawn to Tantra, but want it to feel safe and accessible. Many of the people who come to work with me feel some mix of curiosity and hesitation. They sense that Tantra might help them, but they do not want to be pushed, exposed, or asked to cross their own boundaries.

In this space, Tantra is not a performance. It is a way of working with breath, energy, presence, and awareness to help you feel more alive, more connected, and more at home in yourself and your relationships.

In my work, Tantra coaching means:

Naomi
We work with these principles in a coaching setting, which means we focus on what is happening in your life right now, and give you practical tools to use between sessions. This is Tantra based intimacy coaching, not ritual performance and not forcing sex. It is about deepening connection with yourself and those you love. All sessions are online and fully consent led.

Who Tantra Coaching is for?

Tantra coaching for women and couples can be a good fit if you recognise yourself in any of these:

You feel disconnected from your body and want a more sacred relationship with it

You are curious about tantra but want it to be safe, paced, and respectful

You long for intimacy that feels deeper, more present, and more honest

You sense there is more to your desire and energy than you are currently accessing

You have done personal growth or spiritual work and want something that includes your intimate life

You want to bring more intention and tenderness into your relationship, not just technique

You do not need any experience with Tantra, yoga, or spiritual practice. Curiosity is enough.

I work with:

Women individually, through Tantra coaching for women

Couples together, through Tantra coaching for couples

In both cases, the pace and depth are guided by your nervous system and your boundaries.

Tantra Coaching for Couples

In my work with couples, Tantra coaching is as much about working on yourself as it is about changing how you meet each other. It exposes you to both ancient and modern awareness tools that change the way you relate to yourself and each other. In our work, we combine communication, emotional processes, energetic and sexual practices with general coaching that uses Tantric knowledge to change the way in which we understand our relationship to ourselves and our partner.

I work with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in routine, or caught in cycles of resentment, pressure, or obligation—both emotionally and sexually. Some couples also feel as though they have a great connection but feel that their sex life and intimacy could be improved.

Together, we explore how to:

Our sessions may include guided breathwork, mindfulness practices, energetic practices, conscious and consensual touch practices, eye-gazing, and somatic tools to release emotional armor and tension.

This type of work is especially supportive for couples who:

And more…

For many couples, this work becomes a turning point:

Tantra Coaching for Women

My work with women is a journey of coming home to the body.

Many women come to me feeling disconnected from desire, pleasure, or confidence. Some feel numb or overgiving. Others feel stuck in their heads, unsure why attraction or aliveness has faded or frustrated as to why they are unable to find the right partner.

In Tantra coaching, I offer a safe, grounded, non-judgmental space where you can:

We might also look at specific themes such as:
Our sessions may include somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, breath and energy practices, emotional processing through body activations, yoni egg practice, and practices to reclaim your voice, boundaries, and desire.

For many women, this work is about remembering who you were before you learned to disconnect.

What Tantra coaching is not

To be very clear, this work is not:

It is a steady, truthful path of coming closer to yourself, your body, and your relationships.
Deep emotional healing through guided tantra coaching

Safety, boundaries, and trauma awareness

When you hear “Tantra,” you might feel a mix of interest and concern. In my work, safety and boundaries are central.

In my Tantra coaching:

If you have trauma in your past, we treat your system with a great deal of care. Coaching does not replace trauma therapy, but Tantra coaching for women and couples can give you body based and energetic tools that support your healing alongside other forms of support.

How Tantra coaching fits with other support

Tantra coaching can sit alongside:

Many clients find that Tantra based intimacy coaching gives them tools that reach parts of their experience that talking alone cannot. It can also deepen the impact of work you are already doing.

Is Tantra coaching right for you

Tantra coaching may be a good fit if:

You do not have to feel ready in a big way. A small, quiet yes inside is enough to begin.

If you feel called to this path

If you feel drawn to explore Tantra in a way that honours your body, your heart, and your boundaries, Tantra coaching may be the next step for you or for you and your partner.

We can explore together what you need right now, whether that is tantra coaching for women, tantra coaching for couples, or a blend of the two.

From there, we can feel whether this work is a good fit and what kind of support will serve you best on your path back to connection and aliveness.

Frequently Asked Questions about Tantra Coaching

Is Tantra coaching sexual in any way?

Yes, it can be but not with me. Tantra coaching sessions are focused on breath, awareness, energy, emotions, your nervous system, intimacy and touch practices. Sessions are online and if touch is involved you will either be touching yourself or your partner. Everything is fully consent led.

No. Many clients come for Tantra coaching for women as individuals. We focus on your relationship with your own body, energy, and desire. If you are in a relationship, we can also bring your partner in for Tantra coaching for couples when and if that feels supportive.

Your history is treated with a great deal of care. Coaching does not replace trauma therapy, but Tantra based intimacy coaching can give you body-based tools and energetic practices to support your healing. We move slowly, stay within your window of tolerance, and you always decide what feels safe.

Although it is helpful, you do not need any background to begin. I translate Tantric teachings into simple, grounded practices that you can understand and use in daily life. Curiosity is enough.
