Tantra is an integral part of my style of intimacy, relationship and sex coaching. Although I don’t see Tantra coaching and intimacy coaching as separate, I think it will be beneficial for you to understand how I weave Tantric principles and practices into my work as a sex and intimacy coach.
Tantra has been misused in practice and therefore people’s perceptions of Tantra is often misguided so let’s start with an explanation of what Tantra IS and ISN’T.
Tantra is a very old spiritual tradition that came out of India thousands of years ago. At its core, Tantra is about using life itself as the path to awakening not escaping the body, desire, or pleasure, but including them consciously.
Unlike traditions that treat the body as something to overcome, tantra says: the body is a doorway. Sensation, breath, movement, and emotion are tools for presence and expansion.
Important myth to clear up
Tantra is not:
Those are modern distortions. Real tantra is for everyone. It is a path to self-realization. The cultivation and movement of our life-force energy (sexual energy) is at the root of this process.
Modern tantra today
Many people practice tantra now as:
Tantra can be a beautiful path back to your body, your heart, and your intimate life when it is held in a grounded, respectful way.
I offer Tantra coaching for women and couples who are drawn to Tantra, but want it to feel safe and accessible. Many of the people who come to work with me feel some mix of curiosity and hesitation. They sense that Tantra might help them, but they do not want to be pushed, exposed, or asked to cross their own boundaries.
In this space, Tantra is not a performance. It is a way of working with breath, energy, presence, and awareness to help you feel more alive, more connected, and more at home in yourself and your relationships.
In my work, Tantra coaching means:
Tantra coaching for women and couples can be a good fit if you recognise yourself in any of these:
You do not need any experience with Tantra, yoga, or spiritual practice. Curiosity is enough.
I work with:
In both cases, the pace and depth are guided by your nervous system and your boundaries.
In my work with couples, Tantra coaching is as much about working on yourself as it is about changing how you meet each other. It exposes you to both ancient and modern awareness tools that change the way you relate to yourself and each other. In our work, we combine communication, emotional processes, energetic and sexual practices with general coaching that uses Tantric knowledge to change the way in which we understand our relationship to ourselves and our partner.
I work with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in routine, or caught in cycles of resentment, pressure, or obligation—both emotionally and sexually. Some couples also feel as though they have a great connection but feel that their sex life and intimacy could be improved.
Together, we explore how to:
Our sessions may include guided breathwork, mindfulness practices, energetic practices, conscious and consensual touch practices, eye-gazing, and somatic tools to release emotional armor and tension.
This type of work is especially supportive for couples who:
And more…
For many couples, this work becomes a turning point:
My work with women is a journey of coming home to the body.
Many women come to me feeling disconnected from desire, pleasure, or confidence. Some feel numb or overgiving. Others feel stuck in their heads, unsure why attraction or aliveness has faded or frustrated as to why they are unable to find the right partner.
In Tantra coaching, I offer a safe, grounded, non-judgmental space where you can:
To be very clear, this work is not:
When you hear “Tantra,” you might feel a mix of interest and concern. In my work, safety and boundaries are central.
In my Tantra coaching:
If you have trauma in your past, we treat your system with a great deal of care. Coaching does not replace trauma therapy, but Tantra coaching for women and couples can give you body based and energetic tools that support your healing alongside other forms of support.
Many clients find that Tantra based intimacy coaching gives them tools that reach parts of their experience that talking alone cannot. It can also deepen the impact of work you are already doing.
Tantra coaching may be a good fit if:
If you feel drawn to explore Tantra in a way that honours your body, your heart, and your boundaries, Tantra coaching may be the next step for you or for you and your partner.
We can explore together what you need right now, whether that is tantra coaching for women, tantra coaching for couples, or a blend of the two.
No. Many clients come for Tantra coaching for women as individuals. We focus on your relationship with your own body, energy, and desire. If you are in a relationship, we can also bring your partner in for Tantra coaching for couples when and if that feels supportive.
Your history is treated with a great deal of care. Coaching does not replace trauma therapy, but Tantra based intimacy coaching can give you body-based tools and energetic practices to support your healing. We move slowly, stay within your window of tolerance, and you always decide what feels safe.
Although it is helpful, you do not need any background to begin. I translate Tantric teachings into simple, grounded practices that you can understand and use in daily life. Curiosity is enough.
